Services for Alton O'Bryant will be held Tuesday, June 4, 2019 2:00 PM at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood, MS.

Mr. O'Bryant, age 71, died on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at his residence.

He was born on February 18, 1948 to the late Willie and Mary King O'Bryant in Sidon, and resided in the Greenwood area all of his life. He was of the Baptist faith. Alton enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Erin Whitaker, and five siblings.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda O'Bryant of Greenwood, MS; two daughters, Janet (Steve) Robinson of Henderson, TN, and Jeanette Whitaker of Greenwood, MS; two sons, Kirk O'Bryant of Greenwood, MS, and Kris O'Bryant of Carrollton, MS; sister, Emma Lehman of Greenwood, MS; and four grandchildren, Presley Beth Robinson, Jantzen Robinson, Clay Whitaker, and Tyler O'Bryant.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood. Rev Perry Irvin will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Byron O'Bryant, Anthony O'Bryant, William Blake, Cory Walker, David Randolph, and Gerry Carter. Honorary Pallbearers will be Wade Johnson, Randy Henderson, Lonzo Carithers, and Ricky Harper. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or to donor's choice.
