Florence, MS: Anna M. Lott, 88, died Friday Feb. 28, 2014 at the Briar Hill Rest Home in Florence, MS. Funeral services are 11 A.M. Monday March 3, 2014 at Wilson & Knight funeral home with interment in Evergreen cemetery. Rev. John Dawson will officiate. Visitation is from 9:30 till 11 Monday at the funeral home.
Anna was born in Walnut Grove, MS to Robert N. and Ona Green. She attended high school and East Central Jr. College in Decatur and the University of Southern MS. Her first husband, John R. McInnis, Jr. was killed in the Korean Conflict. She later moved to Carrollton where she taught in the county schools for a time. Anna married Fred Lott from Carrollton and they moved to Greenwood. She worked for Greenwood Leflore hospital and the A.S.C.S. office until her retirement. She was a longtime member of St. John's Methodist Church.
She is survived by her son, John R. McInnis, III (Angela) of Pearl, MS, a brother, Billy Green (Sally) of Decatur, MS, a grandson, Ben Morris (Robin) of Braxton, MS, 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Brian Lott, William Lott, Bill Lott, James Lott, Randy Banks and Larry Davis.
