Services for Barbara Niven Floyd will be held Saturday, June 24, 2023 11:00 AM graveside in Itta Bena Cemetery.

Mrs. Floyd, age 86, died Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at her residence in Carrollton, MS.

She was born on October 12, 1936 in Sidon, MS, to the late T.J. Niven and Hulda Trigg. She was a retired homemaker and a member of Providence Baptist Church in Carroll County. She is preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Joe Floyd.

She is survived by her sons, James R. McCaleb and wife Pam of Coffeeville, MS, and Jefferson D. McCaleb of Carrollton, MS; brother, Jim Trigg of Peachtree City, GA; sister, Clarice Hudnall of Natchez, MS; grandchildren, Richard B. McCaleb and wife Stormie, Robbie McCaleb Elliot and husband Trey, Douglas Chrismon, and Whitney Rushing; and eight great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2023 10:00 AM till 10:45 AM at Wilson and Knight Funeral Home. Rev. Butch Kelly will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Bobby McCaleb, John McCaleb, Johnny McCaleb, Howard McCaleb, Mark McCaleb, and Jacob Phillips, McCaleb. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kenneth Bell Swafford and Curtis White.
