Barbara Louise Kuykendall, 89, of Greenwood died Saturday, July 2, 2016 at Indywood Glen Personal Care. Wilson & Knight Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Kuykendall was born February 13, 1927 to William McKinley Kenemer and Verta Henderson Kenemer. She lived in the Lake Piomingo area near Tupelo before coming to Greenwood, attended First Baptist Church in Kosciusko and Auburn Baptist Church near Tupelo. She was an animal lover and was a supporter of the Tupelo Humane Society. Mrs. Kuykendall was preceded in death by her husband James Curtis Kuykendall, Sr., her son James Curtis Kuykendall, Jr., and her parents.

She was survived by her sons Kyle Kuykendall of McCarley, MS, David Kuykendall of Duck Hill, MS, and daughter Kandis Kuykendall Hendrix of Planersville, MS. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
There will be a memorial service at a later date.
