Barbara Ann Lindsey, 85, passed away Saturday, April 5, 2025 at her home in Sidon, MS, after a long illness. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 29, 2025 in Sidon Cemetery with Rev. Ben Butler officiating.

Barbara was born January 6, 1940, to the late Melvin and Lennie Bradshaw in Webster County. She was raised in Leflore County and attended Leflore County High School (or at the time called Itta Bena High School) in Itta Bena, MS. There she met the love of her life, Thomas Jefferson Lindsey, III and married on June 30, 1960. During her early years of marriage, Barbara worked as a secretary for lawyer Porter Peteet of Greenwood and later worked as a part time cotton classer at the USDA office.  She is preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Jerry Mack Bradshaw.

She is survived by her husband, of 64 years, Thomas Jefferson Lindsey, III of Sidon, MS; daughter, Bethany Ann Jones (Hank) of Kilmichael, MS; several nieces, nephews, close friends, and church members.

Pallbearers will be Mack Bradshaw, Lake Lindsey, Jacob Lindsey, and Steven Wier. Honorary pallbearers will be John W. Lindsey, Jr, Josh Correro, and Matt Howard, Sr.
