Services for Barbara Lee McBride Russell will be held Saturday, September 28, 2019 11:00 AM graveside in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Greenwood, with the Rev. Andy Ray officiating.

Mrs. Russell, age 90, died on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at Golden Age Nursing Home.

She was born on May 28, 1929 to the late Walter Lee McBride and Mary Eleanor Rose McBride in Crenshaw, MS, and resided in Greenwood since 1981. Mrs. Russell was an active member of First United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the UMW. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved reading and her cats. She is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Paul Eugene Russell, Sr.

She is survived by her two sons, Steve (Penny) Russell of Kosciusko, MS, and Paul "Tad" Russell, Jr of Greenwood, MS; and grandson, Blaine (Christina) Russell of East Flat Rock, NC.
