Services for Bennie Gene McClellan, Sr will be held Monday March 2, 2015 11:00 AM at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood, MS.

Mr. McClellan Sr, age 74 died on Saturday February 28, 2015 at his Residence of Cancer

He was born on September 03, 1940 to the late Raymond and Irma Elliott McClellan in Leland MS, he grew up in Moorhead and lived most of his adult life in the Greenwood area. He retired from Sears after 24 years of service, and was of the Baptist faith. He is preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Sammy McClellan.

He is survived by Wife, of 54 years, Dorothy Bruce McClellan of Greenwood, MS, Daughter, Terry Lynn McClellan of Greenwood, MS, Son, Bennie "Mac" McClellan, Jr of Grenada, MS, three Sisters, Betty Jo Jones of Clinton, MS, Marian McGehee of Greenville, MS, and Bonnie Outlaw of Silver City, MS, two Brothers, Billy Ray McClellan of Cleveland, MS, and Ray McClellan of Tupelo, MS, Granddaughter, Julia Rivers Trimble, and two Great Grandchildren, Kendall Trimble, and Dillon Trimble.

Visitation will be held on Sunday March 01, 2015 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood. Rev. Larry Edwards will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Bob Clark, Bo Ellis, Wesley Bruce, Steven Hunt, Bubba Bruce, and James Funderburk. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jimmy Methvin, Doug Roberts, Dwight Wood, Buck Jones, Tommy McGehee, Wallace Outlaw, Lester Hunt, Billy Fondren, Dan Jones, Mark Pilgrim and Dr. Michael Boler. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery.
