Mr. Baird, age 61, died on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Greenwood Leflore Hospital of pneumonia.
He was born on April 09, 1956 in Greenwood, MS, to Leighton and Helen Hagele Baird and lived in Greenwood, MS. He retired from the US Army after 25 years. He served in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
He is survived by his son, Jon Evans of Lexington, MS, brother, Ralph Baird of Sandy, OR, and five grandchildren.
