Betty Fant Fraiser, 93, of Madison, formally of Greenwood, died Thursday, January 30, 2020 at St. Catherine Village in Madison. Services will be 2 p.m.  Sunday, February 2, 2020 at First United Methodist Church with visitation 1 p.m. until service time. Rev. Glenn Seefeld and Rev. Dennis Gossett will officiate. Interment will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery.

She was born March 12, 1926 in Greenwood. Betty is a 1943 graduate of Greenwood High School and she attended Mississippi College for Women. In 1980 she retired from working for Robert Wingate, a CPA in Greenwood.

A highlight of her life was meeting her beloved late husband, Henry Yandell Fraiser, Jr. and was happy to become part of his family. She enjoyed volunteering in her church, knitting, bridge, eating ice cream and baking chocolate cakes. She was a life-long member of First United Methodist Church in Greenwood. Since 2011 Betty has been a resident at St. Catherine's Village in Madison, MS, and she enjoyed the many friends she met there. She was also member of Madison United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Fraiser was preceded in death by her parents, Frank C. Fant, Sr. and Susie Mae Elliott Fant, her brother, Frank C. Fant, Jr. her husband, Henry Yandell Fraiser, Jr, his daughter, Lenora "Sissy" Fraiser Smith, and his granddaughter, Allison Fraiser Faulkner.

Survivors include, niece, Nita Fant Swift (Bill), nephew, Robert Leo Fant (Janine) and nephew, George E. Fant (Jane), three great nephews and four great nieces. Additional survivors include Henry Yandell Fraiser, Jr.'s sons, Henry Yandell "Bubba" Fraiser III, and Duncan Fraiser, son in law, Danny Smith and five grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the United Methodist Church of choice or the American Heart Association.
