Mrs. Cantrell, age 87 died peacefully on Wednesday November 04, 2015 at Mercy Clinic in Bella Vista AR of heart failure.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday November 10, 2015 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood.
Services for Bettye Louise Rae Cantrell will be held Wednesday November 11, 2015 1:00 PM Graveside in Maple Hill Cemetery in Helena, AR.
Pallbearers will be David Cantrell, Jonathan Cantrell, Luke Dial, Garrett Vincent, William Johnston, Charles Hunter Johnston, and Dennis Johnston. Honorary Pallbearer will be John Killebrew.
She was born on August 05, 1928 to the late Charles and Mary Maude Martin Rae in Helena AR and moved to Greenwood in 1962. Mrs. Cantrell was retired from the Leflore County School System as an auditor. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Greenwood, was an avid bowler and golfer, and loved to read. She is preceded in death by her husband Guinn L. Cantrell Sr.
She is survived by a Son, Guinn L. Cantrell Jr. and his wife Michelle (Mickey) Cantrell of Bella Vista, AR, Brother, William "Bill" Rae of Little Rock, AR, three grandchildren, and four great grandchildren
