Services for Billy Dean Burchfield will be held Saturday, September 25, 2021 2:00 PM graveside at Itta Bena Cemetery in Itta Bena, MS, with the Rev. Butch Kelly officiating.

Mr. Burchfield, age 84, died on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at the Louisiana War Veterans Home in Jackson, LA.

He was born on January 8, 1937 to the late James Wade Burchfield and Dura Allen May Burchfield. He was a US Army veteran and a member of First Baptist Church of Itta Bena. Billy also was an active member of the VFW and Moose Lodge in both Metairie, LA, and Houston, TX. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Billy Dean Burchfield, Jr.; and four brothers, Jasper Burchfield, James Burchfield, William Burchfield and Bobby Burchfield.

He is survived by his children, Dean, Theresa, Herbie, Roy, Peggy, and Helen; two brothers, Allen Burchfield, and Dan Burchfield; and two sisters, Shirley Hodges and Delores Mullins.
