Billy Dave Walker , 75, of Carroll County, MS, died Friday, September 2, 2022 at his residence. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.  Sunday at the home of Sylvia Walker, 7 CR 199, Greenwood, MS 38930.

Mr. Walker was born January 20, 1947 in Greenville, MS, to Joseph Ezell Walker and Reba Rivers Walker. He was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed spending time with his family and cutting grass. He retired from Greenwood Utilities after 33 years of service.  He was preceded in death by his son, Ricky Walker, brothers, Jesse Joiner, and James Walker, and his parents.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Sylvia Cochran Walker of Carroll County, MS; son, Tony Walker of Inverness, MS; three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Friends and family may bring food to the house during the service hours Sunday.
