Services for Billy Wayne Williams of McCarley formerly of Moorhead will be held Sunday February 07,2016 at 2:00 PM at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood, MS.

Mr. Williams, age 72 died on Thursday February 04, 2016 at Baptist Hospital in Jackson MS.

He was born on August 18, 1943 in Drew, MS to E.G. Williams and Ruby Ann White. He was raised in Greenville, and resided in Moorhead most of his life, and retired in McCarley. He was a graduate of Greenville High school, received Bachelor's degree from University of Southern Mississippi, and a Master's degree from Delta State University. Mr. Williams retired from Mississippi Delta Community College after 31 years of service as an Architectural Design and Construction Technology instructor. He was a member of Old Union Church of Christ. Mr. Williams will be remembered for his artistic talents.

He is survived by Wife, June Walker Williams of McCarley, MS. Son, Bryan (Ashley) Williams of Brandon, MS. Daughter, Kristy (Jay) Wilson of Winona, MS, two Sisters, Agnes (Milton) Taylor of Greenville, MS, Dorothy Grimm of Mount Vernon, MO, seven Grandchildren, Kathryn Sheffield, Courtney Shaw, Katie Wilson, Katelynn Williams, Chris Wilson, Hunter Wilson, and Walker Williams, and one great grandchild.

Visitation will be held on Saturday February 06, 2016 at 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood. Bro Mike Schmitz will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Bubba Pilgrim, Hunter Wilson, Chris Wilson, Michael Vance, Allen Sykes, Allen Melton, Barry Corley, and Trae Etheridge. Honorary Pallbearers will be Neal Bone, Carl Griffin, Paul Dottley, Jimmy Stewart, Don Cox, and Mark Pilgrim. Burial will be in Old Union Church of Christ Cemetery.
