Services for Blake Klemme, Sr. will be held Saturday, November 17, 2018 11:00 AM graveside in Evergreen Cemetery.

Mr. Klemme, age 66, died on Monday, November 12, 2018 at Merit Hospital in Jackson, MS.

He was born on February 22, 1952 to the late William Claude Klemme and Betty Jean Dewberry Kirksey in Benoit, MS, resided in Greenville for most of his life, and in Vicksburg the past 15 years. He was a member of the Brandon Assembly of God. He retired from the Baxter Company in Greenville as a crane/heavy equipment operator after 40 years of service. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Larry Kirksey, and a sister, Toni Kirksey.

He is survived by his wife, Paula Diane Williams Klemme of Vicksburg, MS; two daughters, Jaime Lynn Carpenter of Carrollton, MS, and Leigh Anna Chambers of Columbia, SC; two sons, Blake Klemme II of Greenwood, MS, and Claude Taylor Klemme of Anderson, SC; two step sons, Jonathan Adams of Brandon, MS, and Scott Adams of Pelahatchie, MS; eleven grandchildren, Jacob Klemme, Graycen Wiltshire, Gavin Wiltshire, Cross Carpenter, Cate Carpenter, Amber Adams, Haley Adams, Samantha Adams, John Adams, Faith Adams, Hope Adams, and Jay Cheatham; two brothers, Donald Klemme of Vicksburg, MS, and Chuck Kirksey of Indianola, MS; nine sisters, Barbara Crose of Greenville, MS, Caroline Murphy of Stewart, MS,   Diane Jordan of Vicksburg, MS, Darlene Ouzts of Cleveland, MS, Carol McMillian of Cleveland, MS, Anita Klemme of Tutwiler, MS, Christeen White of Clarksdale, MS, Sharon Klemme of Tutwiler, MS, and Audrey Aven of Tutwiler, MS.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2018 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood. Rev Fletcher Moorman will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Jacob Klemme, Gavin Wiltshire, DJ Williams, Colton Williams, John Mark Gibson, Anthony Bowles, David Murphy, Jr., Bailey Nichols, and Dillon Kirksey. Honorary Pallbearers will be Scott Adams, Jonathan Adams, Emmett Kelly, Terry Oswalt, Mike Gibson, Bo Williams, Anthony Bowles, Carol Perry, Doyle Carpenter, Lamar Fox, Mike Morlino and David Murphy, Sr.
