Bobbie Elouise Cheek

February 25, 1941 – January 14, 2020

Services for Bobbie Elouise Cheek will be held Thursday, January 16, 2020 2:00 pm graveside in Moore's Memorial Cemetery in Carroll County.

Mrs. Cheek 78, passed from this life on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at Greenwood Leflore Hospital.

She was born in Ethel, MS, on February 25, 1941 to the late Willie and Inez Belk. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Elouise was known to her grandchildren and great grandchildren as "Weezie" and was not only loved by her family but many friends as well. She touched a lot of lives during her time on this earth and will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by her brother, Jack Belk.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Rayburn Cheek of Greenwood, MS; two daughters, Donna (Joe) Roberts of Kosciusko, MS, and Dana (Kenny) Joiner of Kosciusko, MS; two brothers, James Belk of Greenwood, MS, and Jimmy Belk of Verona, MS; five grandchildren, Adam (Haylee) Ferguson, Natalie Joiner, Austin Joiner, Maggie Joiner, Jason (Emily) Roberts; great grandchild, Zachary "Zac" Ferguson and was waiting on the arrival of Elijah Joseph Roberts.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2020 11:30 am until 1:30 pm at Wilson and Knight Funeral Home. Rev Barry Corbett will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Kenny Joiner, Austin Joiner, Joe Roberts, Adam Ferguson, Neil Belk, David Cheek, and Ronnie Cheek. Honorary pallbearer will be Jason Roberts.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Wilson and Knight Funeral Home is in charge. Online guest book may be signed at www.wilsonandknight.com
