Boyce "Doc" Little, 86, of North Carrollton, MS, died Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Greenwood Leflore Hospital. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at North Carrollton Baptist Church. Visitation will be 9 a.m. until service time at the church. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in North Carrollton, MS. Rev. Tommy Clark will officiate and Rev. Keith Ramage will assist.  Wilson & Knight Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Doc was born September 4, 1931 to Boas Little and Effie Mounce Little. He was an active member of North Carrollton Baptist Church and served with the Mississippi Baptist Relief for many years. He enjoyed working outside, and he loved to cook. Doc retired from the Greenwood Police Department after 25 years, and he served as a night marshal for the North Carrollton Police Department. He proudly served his country in the United States Army in Korea. He is preceded in death by his sisters, Marie Clolinger, Edria Ricks, Geraldine Arrington, Susie Martin and his twin sister Loyce Little.

Doc is survived by his wife, Claudette Little of North Carrollton, MS; daughters, Cathy Carpenter and husband Eddie of North Carrollton, MS, and Carol Downs and husband Tommy of Carrollton, MS; two grandchildren, Shelley McCrory and husband Brook of Teoc, MS, and Will Downs of Carrollton, MS; two great-grandchildren, Mel and Joseph McCrory of Teoc, MS; brother, Frank Little and wife Carolyn of Brandon, MS; and sister, Ellene Ferguson of Greenwood, MS.

Pallbearers will be Henry Allen Dunn, Charles Acy, Casey Carpenter, Paul Davis, Brook McCrory, and Troy Wiltshire.
