Services for Brenda Andrews Holliday will be held Friday, May 28, 2021 2:00 PM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Greenwood, MS.
Mrs. Holliday, age 63, died on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at her residence after a long battle with cancer.
She was born on January 8, 1958 in Greenwood, MS, to the late Att A. and Myrtle Hicks Andrews. She graduated from Greenwood High School with honors and received her Bachelor's degree from Delta State University in accounting and became a CPA. She work at Staplcotn for 38 years where she served as Controller. She was a longstanding member of the Mississippi Board of Certified Public Accountants. She was a Communicant of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church and was active in the Madonna Circle. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Helen Andrews and Alice Barnett; and two brothers, Michael Andrews and Att A. Andrews, Jr.
She is survived by her husband, Albert K. Holliday, Jr. of Greenwood, MS; three sons, Al (Melissa) Holliday, III of Houma, LA, Jon (Kirby) Holliday of Houston, TX, and Rob (Amanda) Holliday of Gluckstadt, MS; six grandchildren, Lillian Frances Holliday, Parker Andrews Holliday, Jonathan Michael Holliday, Harrison Wade Holliday, Hadley Ann Holliday, and Alyssa Grace Holliday; and a sister, Judy Andrews Graham of Batesville, MS.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 27, 2021 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood, and Friday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM preceding the service at the church. Father Jose Sanchez will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be her coworkers friends from Staplcotn Mike Moffatt, Frederick Barrier, Chip Upchurch, Shane Stephens, Hank Reichle, and Russell Robertson. Interment will follow in Odd Fellows East Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Wilson and Knight Funeral Home is in charge.
