Burin Thomas "Tommy" Flanagan, 60, of Austell, GA, died Friday, February 28, 2025 at Wellstar Hospital in Austell.  Graveside services will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2025 2:00 PM graveside in Lehrton Cemetery in Ruleville, MS. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM till 12:00 PM at Wilson and Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood. Rev. Ben Butler will officiate the services.

Tommy was born on December 20, 1964 to the late Burin Thomas Flanagan and Annie Rebecca Standrod. He was a man who loved his family and visiting with friends. He never met a stranger and always enjoyed making new friends. He loved going to car shows and owned several vintage cars that he loved keeping in perfect condition. He was a huge animal lover and was always happy to play with animals of all kinds. He enjoyed to traveling and seeing new places, one of his favorite trips was with Diane to Ireland.

He is survived by his father, James Standrod of Greenwood, MS; sister, Cheryl Lindsey (Johnny) of Greenwood, MS; brothers, Robert Flanagan of Greenwood, MS, and Bubba Standrod (Lisa) of Greenwood, MS; girlfriend, Diane Green of McDonough, GA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Bubba Standrod, Mason Standrod, Lake Lindsey, Johnny Lindsey, Jacob Lindsey, and Kenny Morgan.
