Carl Thomas Lipe , 82 of Greenwood died Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Greenwood Leflore Hospital. Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, May 1, 2014 be at the Episcopal Church of Nativity. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until service time Thursday, May 1, 2014 at the church.

Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Sumner, MS. at a later date. Rev. Peter Gray will conduct the services.

Mr. Lipe was born April 18, 1932 in Vance, MS in Tallahatchie County to Carl and Ruby Lipe. He was a graduate of Clarksdale High School and the University of Mississippi. He worked for Production Credit Association for many years and retired.

He is survived by his daughter Margaret Lipe Miles of Greenwood, granddaughter Margaret Webb Miles of Greenwood and niece May Lipe Zehuder Mintz and husband Bruce of Madison.
