Carolyn Faye Teal, 73. of Greenwood died Friday, March 20, 2015 at Greenwood Leflore Hospital. Services will be 3 p.m. Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home. Visitation will be1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery. Rev. Kerry Nelson will officiate and assisted by Rev. Lanny Haley and Rev. Charlie Jones.
She was born June 15, 1941 to Robert Vassar and Annie Mae Teal. She was a member of Christ Baptist Church and she loved to cook and play dominos. She was a good caregiver to her disabled sister Alice Teal who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her sisters Wilna King and Hazel Moss, her brother R.V. Teal, Jr. and her parents.

She is survived by two sisters Mary Sykes of Greenwood and Eleanor Nelson of Pontotoc and her brother David Teal of Phillipston, MS and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Kelly Sykes, Billy Nelson, John David Teal, Corey Ross, Justin Perkins and Charley Sykes.
