Carroll C. "Cooter" Brown, Jr. of Greenwood died March 17, 2015 at Greenwood Leflore Hospital. Visitation with the family will be held Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Wilson and Knight Funeral Home. A graveside service will held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Greenwood, Mississippi. Wilson & Knight Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Brown was a life-long resident of Greenwood and a graduate of Greenwood High School. He served in the U.S. Navy in Guam and retired from Staple Cotton Association. He was a member of St. John United Methodist Church and a volunteer at Beacon Harbor.

Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his wife, Mollie Rimmer Brown and by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carroll C. Brown, Sr. He is survived by his son John C. Brown of Clarksdale, MS and a sister, Mrs. Doris Thompson of Greenwood.
