Charles Warren Makamson , 78, of Sidon, MS, died Sunday, February 16, 2020 at his residence.

He was a graduate of Mississippi State University and was a retired school teacher from Belzoni. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Edward Makamson and Birdie Taylor Makamson, and son, Steven Goasa.

He is survived by his nephew, John E. Makamson of Hattiesburg, MS, niece, Joyce Elaine Makamson Berry of Houston, TX, and nephew, James E. Makamson III of Greenwood, MS.

Wilson & Knight is in charge of arrangements. A private service will be held at a later date.
