Charles Terry Johnston of Carrollton, Mississippi, was born at Greenwood Leflore Hospital on November 16, 1952. He graduated from Pillow Academy and then later obtained a pharmacy degree from Ole Miss in 1977. He used that degree at Greenwood Leflore Hospital where he worked as a registered pharmacist for 40 years. When he was not working, he loved to be in the outdoors, watch NASCAR and be with his family. Terry attended Carrollton Baptist Church with his wife of 49 years, Marion Johnston. Terry passed away June 17, 2023, in the early morning hours from cancer at Clinton Healthcare in Clinton, MS.

He is survived by his wife, Marion; sons, Drew (Whitney), Davis (Toni and Hunter), Colby (Tiffany and Benjamin); brother, Carey (Nina); nephews, Christopher, Daniel, and their families.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at the Carrollton Baptist Church from 12 pm to 2 pm with the funeral immediately following the visitation. Interment will follow in Moore's Memorial Cemetery located behind Mt. Pisgah Church on Teoc Rd. following the funeral.

Pallbearers will be David Clark, Fred Clark, Mike Blalack, Jerry Shaw, Ronnie Poe, Jimmy Poe, Bill Gillespie, Glenn Doty, and Dean Kidd.
