Claire Louise Beck,67 of Greenwood died Friday, September 6, 2013 at Greenwood Leflore Hospital. Memorial services will be graveside at 11 a.m. Friday, September 13, 2013 at Leflore Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Friday, September 13, 2013 at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home. Rev. Glenn Seefeld will officiate.
Mrs. Beck was a cotton classer for USDA for over 20 years. She was a member of the Greenwood Country Club. She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry W. Beck.
Mrs. Beck was survived by two daughters, Kim Beck of Greenwood, MS, Kelly Beck of Bay City, TX, a step son, Keith Beck of Tillatoba, MS, a sister, Pam Colby of New York, a brother, Gary Landry of Connecticut. Also survived by two grandchildren, Kathryn Everett, of Greenwood, MS, Jonathan Irvin of Greenwood, MS, three grandchildren, Richard Beck of Holcomb, Nicole Beck of Hernando, Tristin Beck of Tillatoba, Ms, and one great - step grandchild, Jerry Douglas Beck of Holcomb, MS. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Jourdan, Joe Shannon Gentry, Kenny Everett, Bobby Haley and Jonathan Irvin.
