Clayton Wallace Ellett, 73, of Carrollton died Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Yalobusha General Hospital. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be 12 p.m. until service time Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery in North Carrollton. Dr. Wayne Kimbrough will officiate.

Mr. Ellett was born in Morton, MS and he had resided in Payne, MS and Winona before moving to Greenwood. He was a plumber with Upchurch Plumbing Company for 38 years. He moved to Carrollton in 1989 and retired in 2011. He was a member of First Baptist Church and attended there as well.

Mr. Ellett is survived by his wife Dianne Cobb Ellett of Carrollton and three sons Patrick Ellett and Jimmy Ellett of Carrollton and Spencer Ellett of New Albany, MS. He is also survived five grandchildren and two great grandchildren Jaycee and Clay Ellett of Carrollton, Jacob Ellett and Britany Ellett of New Albany, MS, Justin Ellett, Laura Ellett, and Claire Ellett of Carrollton.

He is also survived by his brother Tony Ellett of Southaven, MS and sisters Barbara Broadus of Gulfport, Bunny Rhodes of Long Beach, MS and Mary Sue Dickens of Sanford, NC.
