Services for Coley Howard Sanders will be held Friday, September 24, 2021 1:00 PM at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood, MS.

Mr. Sanders, age 78, died on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at his residence in Greenwood.

He was born on January 15, 1943 in Bruce, MS, to the late Howard and Ruby Mayo Sanders and resided in Leflore County all of his life. He was a retired salesman at Buddy Jones Ford. He loved to fish and visit every afternoon with his friends at Webster's, and he was a huge Ole Miss football fan.

He is survived by his son, Chase Sanders of Greenwood, MS; three daughters, Tammy (Todd) Zepponi of Leland, MS, Hope (Jerry) Mitchell of Columbus, MS, and Missy (Jeff) May of Saltillo, MS; brother, Johnny (Debbie) Sanders of Minter City, MS; sister, Helen Kyle of Kosciusko, MS; nine grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM service time at the funeral home. Rev. Jerry Mitchell will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Shane Sanders, John Richard Sanders, Richard Moorhead, Jerry Mitchell, Todd Zepponi, and Jeff May. Honorary Pallbearers will be Raymond Whiteard, Mac McNeer, and Bob Littlejohn. Interment will follow in Odd Fellows East Cemetery.
