Concepcion Martinez Lopez, 79, of Greenwood, MS, died Thursday, October 26, 2023 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, MS. Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday, October 30, 2023 at Odd Fellows East Cemetery. Father Andrew Nguyen will officiate.

Mrs. Lopez was born in Guatemala on December 8, 1943 to Brijido Martinez and Elisa Gomez de Martinez. She was of the Catholic faith and was a homemaker, enjoyed spending time with her family, and loved to cook and travel. She was preceded in death by her parents, and sisters, Felipa Martinez and Rosalia Martinez.

She is survived by her husband, Federico Lopez, Sr. of Greenwood, MS;  children, Rudy Lopez of Clinton, MS, Johanna Tompkins of  Louisa, KY; Federico Lopez, Jr. of Greenwood, MS; and Cecilia Rivino of Olive Branch, MS; brother, Pedro Martinez of Guatemala City, Guatemala; sister, Fidelia Martinez of Guatemala City, Guatemala; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
