Mrs. Dodd, age 64 died on Monday May 09, 2016 at Greenwood Leflore Hospital.
She was born on November 23, 1951 in Greenville, MS to the late Al and Aileen Dillon Sweet; in Greenville and resided there all of her life. She was a homemaker, enjoyed gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Dodd is preceded in death by her husband Doug Dodd, and a son David Dodd.
She is survived by two sons, Derek (Kelly) Dodd of Greenwood, MS, and Donovan (Elizabeth) Dodd of Knoxville, TN, three brothers, Stephen Sweet of Greenville, MS, Ronnie (Ella) Sweet of Greenville, MS, Bruce Sweet of FL, two grandchildren, Neely Dodd of Greenwood, MS, and Nash Dodd of Greenwood, MS, and her brother and sister in Laws, Steven (Stephanie) Dodd of Sachse, TX.
A celebration of life will be held Thursday May 12, 2016 5:00pm till 7:00Pm at the Love Cottage at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Greenville, MS.
Memorials may be made to St Jude Children's Hospital.
