Services for Danny Lee Ellis will be held Saturday, February 12, 2022 10:00 AM graveside in Greenwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery with the Rev. David Bartlett officiating.

Mr. Ellis, age 76, died on Monday, February 7, 2022 at the VA Hospital in Biloxi, MS.

He was born on March 26, 1945 in Belzoni, MS, to the late Jimmy and Janie Ellis and lived in Ocean Springs, MS, the past 12 years. He was the retired owner of Ellis Auto Parts and was also a cattle farmer. He proudly served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He is preceded in death by his parents, and a son, Daniel Shane Ellis.

He is survived by wife, Charity Ware Ellis of Ocean Springs, MS; son, James Robert (Leah) Ellis of Ocean Springs, MS; two grandchildren, Sarah Ellis, and Shayne Ellis; three sisters, Bettye Vance, Joyce Acy, and Sherry Clark; and two brothers, Charlie Ellis and Sonny Ellis.
