GREENWOOD - David L. Shaw, age 55, died on Friday June 20, 2014 at the Greenwood Leflore Hospital. He was born on April 17, 1959 to the late Lewis A. and Velaria (Lum) Shaw in Greenwood and resided there all of his life. He worked for 20 years as an electronic technician for Morrison Brothers Music. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Greenwood. He was an avid musician and inventor of sound and light equipment. He loved to host a home haunt every Halloween.

Visitation will be held on Monday 06/23/2014 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wilson & Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood. Funeral Services will be held Monday 06/23/2014 11:00 AM at Graveside in Odd Fellows Cemetery. Burial will in Odd Fellows Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Steve Kelly, Kevin James, Steve Everett, Mark Stiles, Jimmy O'Neal, and Mike O'Neal, Charles Hall. Honorary Pallbearers will be Billy Kelly, Dale Steel, "Guido", and Jay Ricks.

He is survived by Daughter, Megan Olvera of Greenwood, MS, 3 Grandchildren, Eric Olvera, Jasmine Olvera, and Kaylee Olvera. 2 Sisters, Janna Stiles of Carrollton, MS, and Anita Boyd of Camden, TN, Brother, Jimmy "Bo" Ricks of Carrollton, MS, the "folks", Jimmy and Doll Ricks of Carrollton, MS.
