Greenwood, MS: Debra Jo Haynes, 54, passed away peacefully at her home Monday morning March 17, 2014, surrounded by her family. A memorial service will be held Friday March 21, 2014 at Wilson & Knight funeral home. Rev. Bernard Wiggins will officiate. Visitation is from 1-2 P.M. at the funeral home.

A longtime resident of Greenwood, Debra worked as a dispatcher for the Leflore County Sheriff's Office and had also worked with the Greenwood Police Department. Debra loved to fish and also loved her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Carl H. Haynes, her mother and Step-father, Robert and Patricia Hillhouse of Eupora, MS, her sons, Derek Malone of Dallas, TX, Brian Malone of Oxford, MS, Carl Anthony Haynes of Greenwood, MS, Johnathan Haynes of Greenwood, MS, a daughter Janet Haynes of Greenwood, MS, and seven grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be her grandchildren, Braden Malone, Layla Malone, Hunter Woodall, Jena Ratliff, Brooklyn Haynes, Kimberly Haynes and Jakob Haynes.
