Dolores Faye Wiltshire Peden

Dolores Faye Wiltshire Peden passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her family.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, December 30, 2022 at Wilson and Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood with the Rev. Mark Luther officiating.

Dolores was born on January 9, 1934 in Carroll County, MS, to the late James Wiltshire and Mabel Tingle Wiltshire. She was a lifelong resident of Schlater, MS, where she was the town's only beautician for over thirty years. She had a love for music, dancing, and socializing with everyone. She always looked forward to her yearly beach trips to Destin, Sunday dinners, and everything that involved family. She will be greatly missed and remembered by all.  She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Frederick Peden; brothers, Hurston Wiltshire and Tony Wiltshire; and a sister, Patricia Alford.

She is survived by her three children, John Frederick Peden, Jr. (Sarah), Michael Andrew Peden (Stacey), and Alicia Ann Peden Giachelli (Bobby); eleven grandchildren, and nineteen great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 30, 2022 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Matthew Giachelli, Casen Giachelli, James Caleb Giachelli, Lake Giachelli, Danny Presley, and Caleb Dyche. Interment will follow in McNutt Cemetery in Schlater.
