Services for Donald Keith "Donnie" Scott will be held Wednesday, January 19, 2022 11:00 AM graveside in Coila Cemetery.

Mr. Scott, age 61, died on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at his residence in Coila, MS.

Mr. Scott was born on May 17, 1960 in Greenwood, MS, to Joe Donald Scott and Helen Scott Stephenson and he resided in the Greenwood area all of his life. He was a member of Coila Baptist Church and was the owner of 3D construction for 20 years before his retirement. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and camping. He was a devoted, son, husband, father, and grandfather who loved spending time with his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father, Joe Donald Scott, and a brother, Kenneth Mack Scott.

He is survived by his wife, Regina Shivers Scott of Coila, MS; two sons, Damian (Kimberly) Scott of Coila, MS, and Daniel (Emily) Scott of Sturgis, MS; daughter, Dayna (Brandon) Clunan of Coila, MS;  mother, Helen Scott Stephenson of Coila, MS; sister, Kathy Joe (David) Holliman of Grenada, MS; and nine grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood. Rev. Terry Corley will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Vernell Hunt, Randy Whitfield, David Blankenship, Joe Gentry, Hosea Patterson, Everette Patterson, and Connor Zuege. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jerry Mims, J C Prescott, Freddie Pate, and David Mims. Burial will be in Coila Cemetery.

The family extends a special thanks to Dr. Kenneth Hines and staff, Dr. Syed Rafique and staff, Dr. Joe Pressler and staff, and Dr. Abhash Thakur and staff.
