Services for Donald Ray Farmer will be held Thursday, July 28, 2022 2:00 PM at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood, MS.

Mr. Farmer, age 46, died on Sunday, July 24, 2022 at Baptist Desoto Hospital in Southaven, MS.

He was born on September 14, 1975 in Greenwood, MS, and lived in Walls, MS, the past two years. He worked in construction and was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. He is preceded in death by his father, Donald Ray Farmer, Sr., and a brother, Bilbo "Ben" Chamblee III.

He is survived by his mother, Sandy Sue (Glen) Hooker of Walls, MS; son, Dalton Ray Farmer of Nettleton, MS; daughter, Shelby Dawn Farmer of Oxford, MS; two brothers, Robert Allen Chamblee of Lubbock, TX, and Travis Farmer of Greenwood, MS; sister, Jessica Farmer of Greenwood, MS; step sister, Glenda Wilkinson of Tampa, FL; grandchild, Saylor Jones; aunts, Stella (Larry) Hammons, Debbie (Tim) Casiday, and Betty (Mike) Barrentine.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2022 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood. Rev. Joseph Sansing will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Michael Barrentine, Mitch Barrentine, Dax Barrentine, Wood Barrentine, David Casiday, Timmy Casiday, and Mason Casiday. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kristy Johnson and Melissa Sturdivant. Burial will be in Mt Pisgah Cemetery.
