Services for Dorothy Faye Alderman Grantham will be held at 2:00Pm Wednesday graveside in the Oak Hurst Cemetery in Clarksdale.

Mrs. Grantham, age 87 died on Monday May 23, 2016 at Indywood Glen.

She was born on July 12, 1928 in Carroll County, MS to the late Malichi and Lottie Wiltshire Alderman in Carroll County and resided there most of her life. Mrs. Grantham retired from Bellsouth after 30 years of service. She is a member of Mt Olive Baptist Church, and a member of the Telephone Pioneers. She is preceded in death by her husband Henry Grantham, son Eddy Grantham, and a brother Hollis Alderman.

She is survived by a Son, Bobby and his wife Gaylon Grantham of Coila, MS, two Grandsons, Bob and his wife Susan Grantham of Greenwood, MS, and Scott and his wife Chrissy Grantham of Greenwood, MS, three Great Grandchildren, Samantha Grantham, Carli Grantham, Nate Grantham, and a Brother, Alton Alderman of Greenwood, MS.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 9:00Am till 11:00Am at Wilson and knight Funeral Home. Rev. Larry Edwards will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Albert Carver, Jimmy Holly, Larry Alderman, Steve Alderman, Randy Hemphill, and Chris Wilson. Burial will be in Oak Hurst Cemetery.
