Mrs. Dorothy Barrentine Moser died Wednesday, August 8, 2018, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in New Albany, MS.   Services will be 11:00am Monday, August 13, 2018 at Wilson and Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood, MS, with interment in Odd Fellows Cemetery.  Dr. Jim Phillips will officiate.  Visitation is scheduled to be from 9:00am till 11:00am Monday, August 13, 2018 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Moser was born to Azariah Tillman and Velma Randall Barrentine on March 24, 1929, in Greenwood and graduated from Greenwood High School. She worked as a dental assistant for Dr. John S. Pittman, as well as in her husband's practice in multiple ways.  She was a devoted wife and mother and friend.

Mrs. Moser was a faithful member of North Greenwood Baptist Church for more than fifty years, during which time she served on numerous committees and taught the 4 year-old Sunday School class.   Mrs. Moser volunteered at the Food Pantry for over 30 years and was a member of the Junior Auxiliary and several other community organizations.

Since 2015, she has resided at Magnolia Place in New Albany, where she was loved by both residents and staff. She was known for her sweet smile and energetic walk.

Mrs. Moser was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Dr. Tracy J. Moser, and is survived by her two daughters, Lisa Michelle Moser of Memphis, TN, and Debra Leigh Roberts and her husband Mark of Southaven, MS; son, Tracy Jack Moser, Jr. and his wife Tracy of Ripley, MS; brother, Robert Barrentine and his wife Lavinia of Edmond, OK; and a grandson, Dillon.

The family requests that memorials be made to North Greenwood Baptist Church.
