Memorial services for Earl Dale Farmer, Sr. of Greenwood will be Friday, June 5 at 6:00 pm at Wilson and Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood, Mississippi, Visitation will be held from 4:00pm until the service at Wilson and Knight.
Mr. Farmer, 65, died from a long hard battle with cancer on June 3, 2015.
Mr. Farmer is preceded in death by his parents, Oliver and Pauline Farmer, and a brother, Larry G. Farmer.
Mr. Farmer is survived by his wife, Theresa Labella Farmer, his son, Earl Dale Farmer, Jr. and daughter in law, Holly of Indianola, MS and, two daughters, Suzanne Farmer, Meridian, MS and Christy Farmer of Greenwood, MS. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, David Evans, Jr., Dale Pack, Molly Farmer, Emily Farmer, Walker Anthony, Weston Farmer, and Carly Farmer. Mr. Farmer is survived by two sisters, Kathy Anderson of Inverness, MS, and Faye Carpenter of Saltillo, MS.
Mr. Farmer was a mechanic for 40 years and loved restoring antique cars and trucks. He will be remembered for his expertise as a great mechanic.
