Services for Earl J. Watts will be held Saturday, November 3, 2018 2:00 PM at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood, MS.

Mr. Watts, age 77, died on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at his residence.

He was born on March 21, 1941 in Marvell, AR, to the late Alvin and Ester Fannin Watts and lived in Greenwood the past 18 years. He worked for Douglas and Lomason for 40 years, Irvin Automotive, and was the Director of the Community Food Pantry in Greenwood before his retirement. He was a member of North Greenwood Baptist Church. Mr. Watts loved working in his yard, growing daylilies, and spending time with his grandson Noah. He is preceded in death by his parents, and 5 siblings.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Driskill Watts of Greenwood, MS; daughter, Karen Watts of Greenwood, MS; grandson, Noah Watts of Greenwood, MS; sister, Joyce Summerhill of Wynn, AR; five  brothers, Alvin Watts of Wynn, AR, Lloyd Watts of TX, Lawton Watts of TX, Kenneth Watts of TX, and Bruce Watts of TX; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home. Rev. Tony Fortenberry will officiate the services. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr Jeff Harden, Dr Charles Nause, and Dr Richard Goldberg.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
