Eddye Dean Vail, 39, of Greenwood, MS, died Friday, November 1, 2019 at her residence. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home with visitation 12 p.m. until service time. Rev. Glenn Seefeld, Rev. Allen Mitchell, Rev. Kevin Smith, and Mike Riley will officiate. Interment will be in Odd Fellows East Cemetery.

Eddye was born September 25, 1980 in Greenwood, MS, to Larry "Eddie" Vail and Judy Yeoman Vail. She was a 1999 graduate of Greenwood High School. She loved the Lord and loved to spread the word of the Lord. She loved her two dogs and cats.

Eddye is survived by her parents, Larry "Eddie" Vail and Judy Yeoman Vail of Greenwood, MS; sisters, Judy Lynn Morrissey and husband Michael "Bo" of Yazoo City, MS, and Stacey Willoughby and husband Brad of Greenwood, MS; fiancé, Tim Mills of Greenwood, MS; two nieces, Lauren Morrissey and Sara Morrissey of Yazoo City, MS; and nephew, Taylor Willoughby of Greenwood, MS.

Pallbearers will be Mark Clardy, Desmond Narmour, Taylor Willoughby, David Casiday, Brad Willoughby, and Bo Morrissey. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Brent Smith, Dr. Guy Shoaf, Zeb States, and Roderick Gilmore.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Phi Mu Alpha, c/o Sara Morrissey, University of Southern Mississippi, 118 College Drive, PO Box 3956, Hattiesburg, MS 39406-0001, for their philanthropy supporting the Children's Miracle Network hospital, Blair E. Batson.

The family would like to thank all of Eddye's healthcare providers, local churches, and friends across the State of Mississippi for their support during her journey.
