Services for Esther C. McPherson will be held Tuesday January 06, 2015 1:00 PM at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Greenwood, MS.
Mrs. McPherson, age 93 died on Wednesday December 31, 2014 at Greenfield Assisted Living Center in Memphis of Heart Failure
She was born on March 08, 1921 in Indianola, MS to the late C.G. and Beulah Narmour Cooper. She resided in the Greenwood area most of her life and was a resident of Memphis for the past 6 years. She was the post master in Schlater, MS for twelve years, and loved to garden and travel. She was a member of the Schlater United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband James F. McPherson.
She is survived by two Daughters, Sandra Overbey of Germantown, TN, and Sherrill Matt of Bend, OR, Son, John L. Sullivan of Bend, OR, Sister, Ruth Hume of Jackson, MS, six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren , and four great-great grandchildren
Visitation will be held on Tuesday January 06, 2015 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood. Dr. Billy Ray Stonestreet will officiate the services.
Wilson & Knight is in charge.
