Obituary

Evelyn Draper Lott, 87, of Greenwood, MS, died Monday, November 21, 2016 at Indywood Glen. Services will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at First Presbyterian Church in Greenwood.
She was born on July 19, 1929 in Madison County, MS, to the late Robert Hugh and Mary Carroll Draper. She was raised in Pickens, MS, where she graduated from high school. She received her Nursing degree from Greenwood-Leflore Hospital where she worked until her retirement.
Mrs. Lott had many interests including reading and being a huge fan of the Ole Miss Rebels. As an avid bridge player, she achieved the status of ACBL Silver Life Master. Her love of travel included several trips abroad. She was an excellent gardener, seamstress, and cook. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church where she served as an Elder. She will be fondly remembered by many as an encouraging, positive person. She will be greatly missed by her family and many devoted friends who she treasured.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William M. "Bill" Lott, and her sister, Elna Draper Key. She is survived by her Sister, Elsie Draper Robinson; her Children, Suzanne Robinson, Bruce Robinson (Sandy), and Scott Robinson (Rosie), all of Miami, FL; her Nephew, Rick Key of Colorado (Neeta); her Nieces, Cary Evelyn Key of Oklahoma, and Frances Nix (Mike) of Greenwood, as well as several great Nieces, great Nephews, and Cousins.
Her family wishes to thank the staff of Indywood Glen for the loving care and kindness they provided during her time there.
Visitation will be held in the parlor of the church from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. prior to the 11 a.m. service which will officiated by Reverend Rusty Douglas. Burial will follow at Shiloh Presbyterian Cemetery in Pickens, MS. Pallbearers will be George Ellis, Adam Ellis, Alan Ellis, Dr. Todd Fincher, Tommy Hargrove, and Mike Nix. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Bridwell, Dr. Mike Carter, and Ellet Lawrence.
Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church in Greenwood, MS, or a favorite charity. Wilson and Knight Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
