Services for Fairy Wilson Kelly will be held Monday, May 7, 2018 2:00 PM at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood, MS.

Mrs. Kelly, age 92, passed away on Friday, May 4, 2018 at her residence in Itta Bena.

Mrs. Kelly was born on July 17, 1925 in Webster County, MS, to the late John Noel and Irene Johnson Wilson, the youngest of six children. Fairy was a homemaker most of her life and in her later years worked at North Central Planning working with the elderly in Itta Bena. She attended First Baptist Church in Itta Bena and was known for her excellent cooking. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 55 years, Roy Lee Kelly, Jr.; her sister, Carlene Pittman; and brothers, Wilber Wilson, Thomas Wilson, Olen Wilson, John Loyd Wilson; and a grandson, Nick Bennett.

She is survived by four sons, Jerry Kelly of Birmingham, AL, Michael Kelly of Tunica, MS, Phil (Pat) Kelly of Itta Bena, MS and Steve (Jean) Kelly of Itta Bena, MS; two daughters, Linda Stroud of Germantown, TN, and Susan (Gary) Bennett of Germantown, TN; ten grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 7, 2018, 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood. Rev. Higdon Herrington will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Jeff Stroud, Mason Ezzell, Colin Eubanks, Eric Kelly, Michael Bussey, Will Kelly, and Bradford Morrow. Interment will follow in Itta Bena Cemetery.

The family extends a special thanks to her loving caregivers, Cassandra James, Bonnie Parker, Cassandra Cage, Eula Sumner, Diane Carter, Khadedria McDowell, and the staff of Grace Hospice.
