Funeral services for Gary Allen Carroll , 69, of Winnsboro, LA, formerly of Greenwood, MS, will be 2 p.m. Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home with visitation from 1 p.m. until service time. Interment will follow in Moore's Memorial Cemetery in Carroll County. Rev. Skeeter Strider will officiate the services.

Mr. Gary died Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at his residence. He was a United States Army Veteran and retired after 33 years from Bunge River Grain Transportation. He was an avid fisherman. He was preceded in death by his parents, A.B. and Tessie Carroll, and a grandson, James Nail.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Carroll of Winnsboro, LA; three children, Margaret Boyd (Keith  Mullins) of Maben, MS, Michael Butler (Violia) of Stewart, MS, and Kim McMurry (Bruce) of Winnsboro, LA; eight grandchildren, Brandon, Natalie, Rachael, Laura, Chy, Brooke, Kory, and Krysta; numerous great grandchildren; brother, Armond Carroll, Jr. of Carrollton, MS; sister, Sherry J. Brown of Greenwood, MS; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Military rites will be by conducted Kessler-Hamrick-Gillespie American Legion Post 29 Honor Guard. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
