Services for Gary K. Daves will be held Wednesday, February 15th, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood.
Mr. Daves, age 55, died on Saturday, February 11th, 2017 in Grenada, MS.
He was born on April 11th, 1961 in Greenwood and lived in Greenwood all of his life. Mr. Daves was the owner and operator of Daves Construction. He was a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle all over the country.
He is preceded in death by a brother, Steven Daves.
He is survived by his two sons, Bryce (Jessica) Daves of Memphis, TN, and Lawson Daves of Boston, MA; daughter, Brittney Daves of Oxford, MS; father, James C. Daves of Holcomb, MS; Mother Sarah Dill Daves of Jackson, MS; two brothers, James William Daves of Greenwood, MS, Douglas Alan Daves of Holcomb, MS; and two sisters, Debra Daves Malone of Marianna, AR, and Joy Belinda Stroup of Grenada, MS.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 15th, 2017 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home. Father Mike McAndrew will officiate the services.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St Jude Children's Hospital. Wilson & Knight is in charge.
