Services for Geneva Bright Coleman will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Wilson Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood, MS.

Mrs. Coleman, 86, died at the Greenwood Leflore Hospital on Thursday.

Geneva was born in Choctaw County, on August 30, 1932 to the late Pressley and Jewel Bright. She was a graduate of French Camp School and was retired from the FAA, where she served as an administrative officer. She was a long time member of First Baptist Church during her years in Greenwood.

Mrs. Coleman loved baking, sewing, her friends, and most of all, her family.

She is survived by a son, Jeff (Shanda) Coleman of Carrollton; three grandchildren, Justin (Amanda) Coleman, Memrie (Ken) Coleman Turner, and Jamie (Jordan) Coleman Bartlett; six great grandchildren, Baker Coleman, Anna Benton Coleman, Landon Turner, Aiden Turner, Barrett Coleman, and Sam Bartlett; and a brother, Wayne Bright of Starkville.

She also leaves behind a very special person to her, Jewell Parham, and three dedicated caregivers, Glenda Branch, JoAnn Holmes, and LaTron Brown.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James Baker (J.B.) Coleman, son, Keith Coleman, and brother, Milton Bright.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday before the service. The Rev. Brady Canright will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Justin Coleman, Zack Coleman, Ken Turner, Gary Bright, Gary Clay, Bobby Knox, David Habig, and Jordan Bartlett. Honorary Pallbearer will be Dr. Michael Boler.

Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Winona, MS.

Memorial may be made to First Baptist Church Greenwood or Blair E. Batson Children's Hospital.
