Gilbert Milton Campbell, 90 of Carrollton died Sunday, July 12, 2015 at Indywood Glen Personal Care. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at Moore's Memorial Cemetery in Carroll County. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home. Rev. Leon Holly will officiate. Wilson & Knight Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Campbell was born May 31, 1925 in Carroll County to Henry and Dessie Carpenter Campbell. He was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church and he also attended Malmaison Baptist Church. He was a cattleman and worked before his retirement as a salesman for Hollowell Furniture. He was preceded in death by his wife Margaret Edna Turner Campbell, son Kenneth Campbell, daughter-in-law Brenda Floyd Campbell, brothers Herbert and Garland Campbell and sister Ruby Alford
He is survived by two sons David Harold Campbell and wife Cassie of Edwards, MS and Dewey Campbell of Winona, MS, two sisters Jewell Mosley of Black Hawk and Dean Winters of Moss Point, brother Houston Campbell of Carroll County, and daughter-in-law Gail Knight. He is also survived by five grandchildren Regina Satterfield(Dwayne) of Benoint, MS, Teresa Campbell Womack of Leland, MS, Callie Noble of panama City, FL, Maggie Campbell of Cordova, TN and Brandy Rowland(Shane) of Vicksburg, MS and eight great-grandchildren.
