Glenn Curtis "Sully" Miller, 86 a long time resident of the Money community died peacefully at his home surrounded by family and friends on Saturday, October 22, 2016.
Mr. Miller was born on July 24, 1930, in Money, MS. He graduated from Greenwood High School. After graduation he entered the Air Force where he served in the Korean War as a radar operator on B52 and B29 bombers. He graduated from Mississippi State University earning his electrical engineering degree.
Sully worked for the Corps of Engineers in Memphis for twenty years and he later worked for the Corps of Engineers in Vicksburg until his retirement. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Miller, parents Frank George Miller and Clara Wilson Miller, brother, Henry Howard Miller, and nephew, Claud Craig Miller.
Sully is survived by his brother, Frank George Miller, Jr, grandson, Claud Craig Miller, Jr., granddaughter, Laura Miller and nephews, Frank Miller III, Glenn Miller and Mike Turner.
Family request memorials be sent to Riverside Baptist Church in the Money community. The family wishes to thank Grace Hospice Agency for the palliative care.
The family will have a private service at a later date. Wilson & Knight Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
