Gloria Gladys Taylor Everett born July, 4, 1942 went home to be with the Lord on May 6, 2020. She is survived by her husband Bobby Eugene "Gene" Everett, Sr. of sixty years. She is also survived by her three children, Bobby Everett (Kathy), Gay Mangum (Jim), and Susan Floyd (David); sister, Shirley Lusk of TN; grandchildren, Noah Carpenter, Adam Hodges (Taylor), Tyah Mangum, David Bratton (Ann), Kacey Reeser (Tyler), Lindsey Floyd, Amanda Wier (Brad), and Trey Everett; great grandchildren, Mary Hastings Hodges, Taylor Bratton, John Clayton Bratton, Logan Reeser, Rowan Reeser, and Hunter Wier; special great niece HartLee Walker. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Pass Taylor, Sr.; brothers, Pass Taylor, Jr., Walter Taylor, and Bobby Taylor; sister, Nanny Johnson; and a granddaughter, Kaley Floyd.
She retired from Sears after ten years of service. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, and she loved her garden, flowers, and the outdoors. She loved all the holidays and the family functions. She never wanted to miss one! She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her. She was a member of Phillipston Baptist Church all her life. May she rest in peace with the Lord.
Services will be 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 7, 2020 graveside in Odd Fellows Cemetery. Rev Charlie Jones will officiate. Pallbearers will be Noah Carpenter, Adam Hodges, David Bratton, Tyler Reeser, Trey Everett, and Brad Wier.
