Gloria Norma Mattox, 89, of Carrollton died on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at her residence. Visitation will be held 12:30 p.m.to 2 p.m. Monday, March 17, 2014 at Carrollton Presbyterian Church (PCA) followed by services at 2 p.m. at Carrollton Presbyterian Church (PCA). Interment will follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery. Wilson & Knight Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Rev. Chuck Carroll, Rev. Mike Allday and Rev. Andrew Perrie will officiate.

Mrs. Mattox was born September 7, 1924 to Ralph and Norma (McCarthy) Harding. She was a member of Carrollton Presbyterian Church (PCA) and was retired from the Social Security Administration. She was preceded in death by her husband Stanny Mattox.

She is survived by sons Lee Mattox and his wife Gena of Carrollton, Mark Mattox and his wife Patsy of Grenada, daughter Lynn Wessman and her husband Ben of Carrollton,15 grandchildren and 35 great Grandchildren. A special thanks to her caregivers Glenda Holmes Branch, Marilyn Branch Hale, Emma Thomas, and Josie Redditt.

Pallbearers will be Todd Wessman, Jonathan Mattox, Matt Mattox, Chad Mattox, Timothy Mattox, Drew Mattox, Josh Mattox, and Jake Mattox. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Elders and Deacons at Carrollton Presbyterian Church (PCA). Memorials may be made to Carrollton Presbyterian Church, (PCA), P.O.
