Grace Johnson Holman, 99, of Greenwood, MS, died April 28, 2024 at her residence. Services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 1, 2024 graveside in Evergreen Cemetery in North Carrollton, with Rev. Jack Marshall officiating.

Mrs. Holman was born July 2, 1924 in Drew, to the late Webb Johnson and Ida Trull Johnson, and she resided in the Greenwood area for the past 40 years. She was a homemaker and member of North Greenwood Baptist Church. She loved everyone and put others before herself. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Herbert Mims and James J. Holman; brother, Doyce Johnson; and sister, Marzell Cordell.

She is survived by her daughters, Carla Mims (Jimmy) of Greenwood, MS, Sylvia Darnell of Jonesboro, AR, and Sharon Hutto (Johnny) of Little Rock, AR; son, Tommy Mims (Angela) of Lakeland, TN; grandchildren, Paul Chesteen, Stan Mims (Kellie), Lexie Parrish (Chris), James Darnell, and David Darnell; and seven great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Stan Mims, David Darnell, James Darnell, Chris Parrish, Zach Parrish, and Connor Mims. Honorary pallbearer will be Johnny Mims.
